🔒 Your files never leave your browserHow it works
This tool opens your EPUB file (which is really a ZIP archive of XHTML chapters and metadata) using epub.js, an open-source EPUB reader, and renders it page by page directly in your browser. The table of contents comes straight from the book's own navigation document, so jumping to any chapter works exactly as the author defined it.
Limitations
This is a lightweight reader — no reading-progress sync, no font/theme customization, and no highlighting or annotations. For those, a dedicated ebook app is the better tool.
FAQ
- Does this save my reading progress?
- No — this is a lightweight in-browser reader, not a library app. Reopen the file to start from the beginning; there's no account or bookshelf here.
- Can I change font size or theme?
- Not yet — this reader shows the book with its own embedded styling, using your browser's page navigation (Next/Previous) and its table of contents to jump between chapters.
- Is my file uploaded anywhere?
- No. The EPUB is parsed and rendered entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
